Day three was pretty darned productive. A fiend came over and helped carry, position, and hold the boards. We got all the top runners that we could get this day, and a few middle/bottom ones.

I really don't want these to fall off. Perhaps I'm overengineering it, but nails are cheap...

The end post is a borrowed one. The post was already there and is braced by two other fences, so I thought one more could only hold it more securely. I placed a 2x3 I had lying around to make the surface position correctly, and to leave room should I replace the post later.

And here's one correction trick. I nailed this 2x4 to the 4x4 in order to make the front surface level out. This post was set as far forward as I dared, but since the people who made the hole was off... so was the post.

Most of the posts were not set with mixed concrete. They were simply set in dry concrete mix. The post will set over time -- it may not be quite as strong initially, but will be just as good later. Here we see the rain helping my cause.
